Already on its fourth iteration, the EECA INTERACT Conference primarily discussed the effects of the War in Ukraine within Eastern Europe and Central Asia, prevention and PrEP, and HIV disparities across invisibilised communities such as MSM and Trans-identifying people.

Established after the tragic and untimely death of our founder, Prof. Joep Lange, the symposium and masterclass are dedicated to honour his legacy of fact-based decision-making. In 2023, the programmatic theme was 'Predicting the Futures of Global Health' where we focused on how 'Big Data', mathematical modelling, and artificial intelligence have and continue to shape the field of global health.
