In 2023, AIGHD was involved in a variety of activities in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Medicine at the AmsterdamUMC, and in the Research Master's in Global Health at the VU.

Our Work in Education

AIGHD offers projects and programmes tailored to the needs of students and the modern world. We actively assist students undergoing their education programmes through their thesis work and other global health research projects.

Research Master's in Global Health

Since 2012, AIGHD has been collaborating with the Vrije Universiteit where we are one of the founding partners of the two-year Research Master's degree program in Global Health.

Our role focuses on design, planning and teaching of courses as well as supporting the overal coordination of the program.

We also offer internship placements at AIGHD to help students build working experience and to offer broader opportunities and points-of-entry to the field of Global Health.

Many of our interns continue to work in Global Health as clinicians, researchers, and practitioners.
