Global Health elective courses
Research master's in Global Health

In 2024, AIGHD was involved in several courses of the bachelor's and master's degree programs in medicine at the Amsterdam UMC, as well as the research master's in global health at the Vrije Universiteit.

We also offered our 'Figure It Out' course with the East African Consortium for Clinical Research (EACCR), led by Dr. Daniella Brals. A highly motivated group of students attended the course and appraised it with high marks.

At the end of 2024, we launched the Research Methods Forum, an ongoing methods-based learning community that all Fellows can attend for free.

Since 2012, AIGHD has been collaborating with the Vrije Universiteit (VU) in Amsterdam, where we are one of the founding partners of the two-year research master's degree program in global health.

Our role focuses on the design, planning, and teaching of courses as well as supporting the overall coordination of the program.
